Friday's meal didn't just cost an arm and a leg, it tasted like F***, the foie gras sucked, the cheese tasted like puke, the red wine was astringent, so was the company.

Sunday's foie gras was chinese styled from imperial treasure mbs. Surprisingly... I prefer the chinese styled foie gras.

Am I really caving in to paternal pressure to be a goody 2 shoe professional? Why can't I just choose what I want to be? I don't want to be an auditor neither do I want to be an accountant. I just want to be what I want to be, let it be.

A few misjudgements in the fx market (massive losses), inability to finalise 2 leasing deals (rental's always the obstacle), failed attempt at interview round 2 (ill-prepared,again), stuck in the middle of an overdue letter that was supposed to accompany a 2010 dairy (there's simply too much to write, but like in speech, I'm completely lost for words), mahjong cum alcohol countdown party (@lips with nel and jinghao), brief but meaningful chat with psp (though as far as UK, I could feel your warmth, thanks so much for your birthday wish) pretty sums up the past few weeks.

Need sleep, need lots of it. I need days where I can just wake up to hot chocolate and perfectly done french toast.

I almost got "raped" by a girl. Gosh, its such a long draggy and tragic story that I just don't feel like going through the agony of recalling again. My Christmas wish for this year is for this girl to get over me and stop being so touchy any moment when she's near me. I should just call her LB for simplicity. I have been neglecting this space for a long longgg time. I have a good camera, a decent photo-taking technique but I guess I made my G10 the most underutilised asset in my possession - especially when compared to my IS250 which has clocked so many miles relative to its youth. Sadly, I missed out on many kodak moments of yesteryear, where neither money nor time could revive. How I wish I had captured more of Min's happy faces, the relief written on my face when I discovered that I pass my final uni exams, the elation and pride of driving IS out of the "new owner's room",the agony that I was going through after breakup (to see how wrecked and distraught I was) and also, happy university years where foong seng, raffles marina, west coast park...were the favourite jaunts.

I hate to remind myself that I am no longer a kid with no purpose. Growing old leaves me with a wretched feeling. I am secretly envious when friends get engaged but openly scoff at their early decision to settle down. I still have no luck in my pursue for happiness. I am lost again, in my direction for career. My knees and back are giving me more problems nowadays. I jump SBJ not with a beautiful 35 degrees trajectory but an almost horizontal float. Amazingly without any rehearsal on the track, I attempted my annual 2.4 run and finished off with a time good enough for silver, even faster than in 2008 where I specifically trained for the run. Oh well, for those RT regulars, you will see a new face soon. Can't believe I got killed by SBJ, it will always remain my Achilles' heel.

On second thoughts, NO. Its too much of a playground where I had too much fun but gained nothing out of it, pretty much like when I was in Uni where I basically bummed - lived to eat and spend time with my girlfriend.

I find fundamental questions from others with regards to myself intriguing yet irritating, not because I have interesting answers for them. Not that I have a colourful repertoire to boost of. It is such questions that stumped me at interviews, that kept my mind racing when friends probed. Perhaps a skin deep level of understanding will suffice.

I'm glad that I can finally declare myself free from the "thinking phase" of life where one is stuck in doldrums. I have my sails up, just hope that the wind will blow in my intended course.

I'm so ooo tired, but I must blog today before I bathe, and sleep. Of all things for the business, I made my first purchase today. Its a cash register! hahahh, I can't wait to collect money!! =) =) Finally got alot of things up and running as I am starting to see not just sketches but flesh and bone of my new baby. IS250 is no longer my baby. Since I'm single, you can be my wifey! I'm so sorry wifey that I floored you so hard on my way back today. I always feel remorseful after flooring wifey. I'm really darn tired from today's activities that I wanted to reach home from Marine Parade in less than 20 minutes, which I achieved in about 23 minutes. Darn the traffic condition, darn the idiotic motorbike which I almost hit. Be considerate for the lives of other motorists and don't beat the red light (you are a f***ing twit), and please turn on your darn lights, its so f***king dangerous!

An uncle in his 50's standing next to his Sunny which was parked right next to my car remarked "Such a young man driving a sports car" Without even thinking I said, "Hello,I'm old enough to be balding" [like hello uncle, firstly, its not a sports car (its a bloody slow poke bm convertible that is slower than my baby), secondly, like I said, I'm old enough to be balding] I was as taken aback by my spontaneity as he was. For the record, the 50 something uncle has a more luxuriant crown than I have.

Been in between jobs for more than a month. To say that I have lost tremendous amount of time is not the least correct - lost is the time not spent in love (with you). To be fair, admittedly, I am losing time, losing any sense of self worth, losing bearing. Thankfully, I am fairly easy to maintain and have no commitments to take care of.

It was a relationship traversing adolescence and adulthood, with no guts to love, ignorant of the difference between childhood playfulness and expectations of the adult world. Hurting is an act of cowardice, which would not have been consulted if given another chance.
